OBJECTIVES
The International Workshop on Advances in Seismic Experiments and Computations (ASEC2012) will take place in Nagoya, Japan, 12-13 March, 2012. The overall objective of the workshop is to promote international collaboration and dissemination of research findings on seismic experiments and computations. The event will cover all aspects of experiments and numerical analyses on construction materials, building and bridge structures, storage tanks, and geotechnical engineering related to earthquake engineering. Particularly, investigation research reports, related to the Tohoku-Kanto Huge Earthquake (2011) that became an unprecedented large disaster, are also welcome.
The workshop is organized by Advanced Research Center for Seismic Experiments and Computations (ARCSEC), supported by the High-tech Research Center Maintenance Sections, Science Research Promotion Projects of Private Universities for FY2007-2011, MEXT.
We cordially invite you to participate in the workshop and look forward to meeting you in Nagoya in March 2012.
